Challenging Behaviour

Our  team of staff  who  have been trained by specialist mental health professionals  are equipped with knowledge and experience to  work  with “challenging clients” . They employ interventions that are geared to minimise the negative impact that their behaviours have on their ability to join in everyday activities.   Our staff also support residents to live meaningful lives by teaching them  coping strategies that are specific to their challenging behaviours

We recognise that communication is the main way challenging behaviour people  interact and express their  needs, likes and dislikes. If communication is a problem then it can be very frustrating for this category of people and may result in challenging behaviour.  We have the expertise and experience to recognise the early warning signs, this  enable us to prevent behavioural outbursts.
